Oruawharo belongs to the International Willing Workers on Organic Farms (WWOOF) Association and is a frequent destination for its members from all over the world.
They take part in the ongoing restoration of Oruawharo’s house and grounds, and over the years have made invaluable contributions to key projects such as the restoration of the historic farm buildings.
During their stay the workers become part of the Oruawharo household, many staying for months at a time and others, after moving on to further travelling, return for repeat visits.
